Made the Front Page of One of Japan’s Largest Newspapers Today

Friends, today I want to share with you something special.

We’ve been working hard on something excitingly new called “AM6” and we released it into beta today.

AM6 categorically changes the way people in Japan wake-up to the world and the information surrounding it. We’ve created a technology called “Mail Parts” that takes information from all sorts of feeds and sources and customizes it so it displays perfectly inside your mail box, every morning.

Mail Parts is wonderful not only because it makes the barrier to learning about the news and other news related items easier, it also allows new kinds of information to enter into email such as stock quotes or even tide and wave information for surfers — the API is open and free to use for anyone, so we hope to see a lot of great ideas develop around Mail Parts.

AM6 already has over 600 items in our directory and it’s growing rapidly every day. We’ve been open for only about a week now and we have over 1300 people registered already. We’re moving at a very rapid pace that I think proves AM6 + Mail Parts will be an essential part of Japanese day-to-day life very shortly.

Of course our other projects (such as Zooomr and BlueBridgeOne) are progressing very rapidly, as well. I will have more information about these projects throughout this very exciting year.

I feel very lucky to be working on some very exciting projects in a time where things are dynamically changing for a lot of people, especially in this economic climate.

We’re always looking forward to hearing what you think, so please feel free to drop me a note on our contact page.

with love,
kristopher
